SERVICES

Adult Services Program

Pivot Point provides several services aimed at helping adults with Diverse Abilities to achieve their goals and live the lives they want. Our services range from more intensive one-to-one supports with a stronger focus on learning new skills, to small group services aimed at supporting meaningful community inclusion, to job skills and placement supports, and the development of larger and safe social networks.

All sources of funding can be used alone or in addition to government funding such as Community Living BC. Pivot Point is a pre-approved service provider through TWO of CLBC’s primary funding programs for Adults with Developmental Disabilities: Personal Supports Initiative (PSI) and Provincial Service Suppliers List (PSSL).

Personalized Supports Initiative (PSI) is a source of “Individualized government funding” created to provide services and supports focused on adults who have both significant limitations in adaptive functioning and either a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or a Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) WITH AVERAGE INTELLIGENCE or better.

Provincial Service Suppliers List (PSSL) is another source of “Individualized government funding” created to provide services and supports for adults who have both significant limitations in adaptive functioning and either a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or a Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) WITH SIGNIFICANTLY IMPAIRED COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING.

Please refer to the CLBC website at www.communitylivingbc.ca for eligibility criteria and to learn more.
