Cloverdale: HANG Stories & Crafts

Buy Tickets Button

Kids reading outdoors

This group is designed for those who prefer a quieter slower pace and have an interest in stories and crafting!

During each session, staff and participants read parts of a chosen novel, taking breaks to discuss the ideas as they arise. The participants also use crafts as an opportunity to dive deep into a story and learn more about the characters, setting, and plot. Students are immersed in the novel in a variety of fun ways!

Consistent with this gentle pace, this group highlights group dynamics, creativity and emotional engagement through fun activities with like-minded peers!

“Helping Adolescents / Adults Network and Grow” (HANG) is a way for teens and adults to build peer relationships while practicing social skills. Each session of any “HANG” styled group includes structured greeting activities, group activity planning, gentle in-the-moment coaching, and feedback on observed and emerging social skill dynamics.

This group will run once a week (either Monday or Friday) from 3:30pm to 5:30pm for 8 weeks.
