The Life Program at Country Heritage Park is an adult-focused initiative thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of its participants. Combining individualized support with small and medium group activities, this program provides a balanced approach to learning, skill-building, and social interaction. Introducing Our Caregiver Training Program

Our 6-week program equips caregivers with practical ABA strategies to support individuals with diverse abilities. Through hands-on learning and expert guidance, participants will gain skills to foster positive behaviours, enhance communication, and create meaningful change. At Pivot Point, we offer customized programs designed to meet the unique needs of your child and family:

Early Intervention ABA Therapeutic Services (PDF):
Our Early Intervention services lay the foundation for success by introducing evidence-based strategies that unlock fun and learning for young children. We focus on your family’s priorities and systematically tailor programs to your child’s needs. Key areas include:

    • •  Language and communication skills
    • •  Social skills, play, and choice-making
    • •  Daily living skills such as dressing and hygiene
    • •  Gross and fine motor development
    • •  Early academics and school readiness

School Age ABA Therapeutic Services (PDF):
Designed for youth and teens, our School Age program provides intensive, goal-focused 1-1 intervention over a six-month period. We address functional skills that promote independence and self-regulation. Key focus areas include:

    • •  Life skills like cooking and chores
    • •  Communication and social skills
    • •  Behaviour support and self-regulation
    • •  Daily living skills such as hygiene and dressing
    • •  Employment skills for teens

Pivot Point’s approach centers around Person-Centered Planning (PCP), ensuring that the goals and priorities of each learner and their family are at the heart of our service delivery. All services are highly individualized, adaptable, and designed to help your child thrive at every stage.
